About Jess
Jess is a speech pathologist who graduated from the University of Queensland. She has 10 years of experience working in private practice, schools and school support services.
Jess is experienced in working with a range of diagnoses including autism, ADHD, language disorder and Down Syndrome, among others. She is a strong believer in using evidence-based practice and continuously learning to keep up with the latest research. She has a special interest in literacy, autism, and AAC (Alternative & Augmentative Communication).
Everyone deserves the chance to communicate, to have a voice, and be heard. This belief is one of the reasons why working in the fields of autism and AAC is Jess’s passion.
She loves collaborating with families, allied health professionals, and teachers to support the development of your child's communication and development.
It is important that therapy sessions are engaging and centered around your child's interests. This makes the experience motivating and meaningful, helping them participate and learn more effectively
